Ted Vitale serves as the CEO of Petore Construction, a contractor serving the New York metropolitan area. In this capacity, Ted Vitale has spearheaded many commercial projects, such as the Alta Strada restaurants.
The first Alta Strada opened in 2007 in Wellesley, Massachusetts, the brainchild of award-winning restaurateur Michael Schlow. The popularity of his classic Italian cuisine led him to open four more locations in Boston, Connecticut, Virginia, and Washington, DC. The menu at the latter location gives some idea of Alta Strada’s offerings.
Diners can choose from several appetizers, including calamari, mussels, shrimp scampi, and creamy burrata. Moving on to the main course, they can enjoy pasta specialties such as baked ziti, mushroom ravioli, and tagliatelle Bolognese. Other entrees include from chicken Parmigiana and Mediterranean branzino. Four kinds of pizza are also available: Trenton style, margherita, bianca, and grilled “al forno.” Visitors can complete their experience with desserts such as tiramisu and bombalina.
