One of the organizations that Ted Vitale is involved with is the Carolina Tiger Rescue Sanctuary, a non-profit that saves and protects wildlife cats living in the wild and captivity.
The Carolina Tiger Rescue is the only North Carolina Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries and federally accredited cat sanctuary. The Carolina Tiger Rescue Sanctuary rescues various cats and offers a platform that educates the public regarding the importance of preserving wildlife in their natural environments.
The Carolina Tiger Rescue Sanctuary organizes field trips, high school summer camps, kids camps, animal husbandry internship opportunities, and the "Kid for a Day" Adult camp.
